You’ll already be all dolled up and feeling super confident after your session, and so why stop all the fun? Make a day out of it and finish your evening with a date night at one of these Mexican Restaurants in Appleton.
There are many Mexican restaurants in Appleton and they are all delicious. I love going out for Mexican because there’s nothing like the warm tortilla chips and freshly made salsa. I really just love authentic cuisine too because it’s so fresh and just tastes better.
If you’re worried about consuming too many calories while out to dinner…have no fear! I have a few recommendations you can order to help you stay on the lighter side of things. First, I know I just talked about the tortilla chips and salsa, but if you really want to cut back I suggest you let your waiter know that you don’t want them so you aren’t even tempted. I would also refrain from ordering anything that is deep fried, choose soft corn shells when possible, crunchy often means fried. I know we’re in Wisconsin, but it’s also healthier if you skip the cheese. Unpopular opinion I know haha, but it’s just a thought. Lastly when choosing your beverage, obviously water is best but ask your waiter about skinny versions of margaritas and daiquiris!

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Appleton! The atmosphere is bright and super friendly. Their menu is filled with authentic dishes created from recipes that have been handed down for generations. Sangria’s also has a large drink menu filled with fun cocktails and mocktails! I would definitely recommend ordering anything with seafood, especially the seafood chimichanga! It’s AMAZING! Be sure to check out Sangria’s for your Mexican cravings!
JARIPEO
This is a great option if you’re wanting delicious Mexican cuisine! Their traditional menu paired with fresh ingredients, makes for a fiesta in your mouth! ANTOJITOS
This amazing Mexican restaurant in Appleton is a must visit! Located in downtown Appleton, this rustic, hip and cozy restaurant serves amazing food. Their menu is more Tex-Mex style, but is still sure to make your mouth water. Be sure to order a margarita flight while visiting and the combo fajitas are raved about by their customers. Antojitos is a must try when it comes to Mexican cuisine.
EL AGAVE
If you’re wanting delicious Mexican food, then you need to try this place! El Agave is located by the Fox River Mall, and is a great location for those who might be out shopping too. The bright and fun atmosphere will have you and your date loving your experience. The servers are always friendly and smiling. Be sure to try the tacos or a burrito! EL SABOR
El Sabor is a fabulous Mexican grill in Appleton! They have a large menu and everything is made fresh. The interior is vibrant and modern and they have outdoor seating available too. Definitely a cozy spot that packs a punch in flavors. Customers brag about the house margarita and highly recommend ordering their top shelf tequila. I definitely recommend trying an enchilada or chimichanga. El Sabor is a hidden gem, waiting for you to discover it!
