When Evy first reached out to book a boudoir session, it wasn’t just for herself—it was a special wedding gift for her husband. But what started as a way to surprise him quickly turned into something much more meaningful.
“I was simultaneously nervous and excited. I’d never experienced anything like this before,” she admitted. That mix of anticipation and nerves is something so many women feel before stepping into their boudoir session, but Evy was ready to embrace the experience.
Walking into the studio for the first time, Evy was greeted with warmth, excitement, and a team dedicated to making her feel her absolute best. I’ve known Evy for years and it was really supporting her throughout this whole process and watching her transform.
“Ashley was helpful every step of the way. From recommending outfit ideas when I had no clue what to wear, to helping me narrow down my choices when I had too many—she made the process so easy. The hair and makeup team worked their magic, and by the time I was in front of the camera, I felt incredible.”
Still, stepping in front of the lens for the first time can feel intimidating. But Evy quickly realized she wasn’t alone in this.
“Ashley was upbeat, knowledgeable, and made everything feel so natural. She even got into each pose herself to show me exactly what to do. She took her time, made sure I was comfortable, and captured me in the most flattering way. It didn’t take long before I started feeling less nervous and more… powerful.”
As we finished Evy’s boudoir photo session, I could tell there was a shift. She was starting to feel the effects of our session together.
“It was such a blast—an eye-opening experience. I walked out feeling like such a badass.”
And then came the moment every woman looks forward to—the reveal. Seeing her images for the first time was nothing short of life-changing.
“I was excited. I’d never seen myself like this before. My husband loved them so much, he actually wanted to frame them and hang them in our bedroom!”
It can be so rewarding to hear your significant other appreciate the art we created together in the studio. And it’s a great way to show them just how powerful and gorgeous you are. Although, I’m sure they haven’t forgotten that about you haha. But the most important part? Evy fell in love with the way she saw herself!
It happens often that women come into the studio, wanting to create something for their significant other. And I totally get wanting to gift them something that is incredible and shows a sexy side of you. But most often, women realize that this session was not just for their partner. They realize it’s also a gift for themselves. And that’s exactly what happened during Evy’s boudoir session. What started as a gift for her future husband, turned into the boost she needed to see how amazing she is. And since Evy has actually done a second session with me haha! She’s learned to love herself and embrace the journey. I love that I get to be apart of that with her.
If you’re ready to embrace your journey and have a boudoir session, I would love to hear from you! Whether it’s a gift for your significant other, yourself or a mix of both. I’m here for it and ready to plan your session!
